Wild Tortoise, Urbina Bay, Isabela Eventually she reached us and walked on by. We stood quietly off to the side so as not to spook her. Santiago said she was not quite full grown. Each volcano on Isabela has its own subspecies of tortoise, but this area is between two of them so it wasn't clear which she was. They apparently don't often come this low; we were lucky and saw another as well, in the bushes.
