20070805n_U312A_IsabelaUrbinaBay_BatRay Ray, Urbina Bay

Dale and I spotted this graceful creature on our way back to the beach. I'm pretty sure it's a bat ray, because it's clearly not a manta, a golden ray, or a spotted eagle ray, and bat rays are the only other species in the Galapagos. The rounded head looks right for a bat ray, too.
