On the Malecon, Guayaquil, mainland Ecuador After our panga ride, we were dropped off at Baltra airport, then caught our flight to Guayaquil. We had the whole afternoon before our plane left for Atlanta, so we stashed all our luggage at the airport and took a taxi to the southern end of the Malecon, a lovely riverside promenade. We took our time walking back north, and then caught a cab back to the airport.
