Al-Jazzar Mosque in Akko. Outside of Jerusalem, this is the largest mosque in Israel and houses a lock of hair from Mohammed's beard. It was built in the 18th century by an Ottoman pasha who was infamous for his cruelty, and who also withstood a siege by Napoleon here.
