Further into the temple are many elaborately
carved walls, including some phallic images.
As far as I can tell, this is a depiction of
Amun-Min. I had no idea before this trip that the Egyptians made
phallic art, but a little research on the Web after I got home revealed
that it's in many places. I guess my university professor in Art History
back in 1978 didn't feel it was a suitable subject!
Farthest toward the back are rooms with Coptic Christian graffiti or
other defacement on the walls.
