The third course of one of our group dinners.
The tour included all meals from the first (official) evening through the
last morning, and in Tripoli they were all very good. The only problem was
that most nights in Tripoli they bused us all somewhere, which added to
the time involved and made things end quite late - especially the first
night, when our driver was totally ignorant of the location and took an
hour and a quarter to get us there when it should only have taken 10 minutes.
(Matthew actually fell asleep at the restaurant that night.) The foil
packets in this photo contain a pasta dish in a mildly spicy seafood sauce.
Sarah had a bit of an adventure here: the bathroom doors locked with keys,
and the key in hers got jammed when she was trying to get out. One of the
staff members went outside, got into the bathroom through the window, and
was able to loosen it. She was a bit panicky for a few minutes there, but
everything was fine in the end.
