Sarah and Matthew had a grand time in the Sahara. Any time they felt bored, all they had to do was sit down and start playing. The sand here was not like beach sand; it was much coarser and grittier, almost sharp, with larger grains sifted to the surface. It was very hard underfoot, also unlike a beach. You can see it's quite flat in this region. The little hut in the background was the only bathroom in the Nafura airport, with just two stalls. After waiting for the bus for an hour, there was a considerable lineup here.
