What with the long waits first for the plane in Tripoli and then for the buses in Nafura, we arrived at the tent city just before sunset. There were no clouds,
but the sky gave us a nice display just the same. It turned out there were some
Touareg dancers that evening, but we hadn't known about it beforehand (we did hear the drums), and we might still have gone to bed right after dinner even if we
had, since dinner wasn't served in the communal dining tent until 9pm. We did walk around to see the disco tent, and also had to pay a visit to the medical tent as Sarah had a bad earache (probably caused by pool water in her ear creating
pressure during the flight).
