The interior of the mosque was a forest
of beautiful columns in a symmetric grid. I really like the bookshelves
that have been built around some of them.
Normally we would not have allowed our children to run around inside a place
of worship, but it was clear from the behavior of the local children
that they weren't expected to be subdued - at least not at that particular
moment.
